How to cancel Skillshare
The steps depend on WHERE you subscribed — directly, through your phone, internet or TV provider, or in an app store. Below are all the ways this service is sold and how to end each one.
Canceling and refunds
Cancel any time; you keep access to the end of the billing period. Refunds: after a 7-day trial, contact Support within 48 hours of the charge for a one-time refund if you haven’t used Skillshare since; charges after 14-day or longer trials and all renewals aren’t refunded.
Billed by Skillshare
Cancel in Account settings on skillshare.com.
App Store or Google Play
Skillshare can’t cancel or refund those.
Annual renewals
A reminder email arrives about 30 days before renewal; renewals aren’t refunded.
On a computer
- Go to Account settings on skillshare.com.
- Select Membership & Payments.
- Click Cancel membership and follow the prompts.
On your phone (in a browser, not the app)
Open skillshare.com in your mobile browser → profile icon → Account settings → Membership & Payments → Cancel membership.
App Store or Google Play
If you subscribed in the app, cancel in your Apple ID subscriptions or in Google Play — Skillshare can’t cancel those.
Free trial
Cancel in Account settings before the trial ends to avoid the charge.
Refunds
- 7-day trial: contact Support within 48 hours of the charge for a one-time refund, if you haven’t used Skillshare since.
- 14-day or longer trials: no refund.
- Renewals: no refund. Annual members get a reminder about 30 days before renewal.
After canceling you keep access until the end of the billing period, then lose classes and teachers’ downloadable materials.
