How to cancel Paramount+

The steps depend on WHERE you subscribed — directly, through your phone, internet or TV provider, or in an app store. Below are all the ways this service is sold and how to end each one.

Canceling

Cancel where you signed up. On the web (also for smart TVs and consoles): your username → Account → Cancel subscription. Through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Prime Video Channels or Apple TV Channels, cancel with them.

Monthly or yearly

Paramount+ says “Cancel anytime”; billing dates can’t be changed.

Through Walmart+ or a carrier

Walmart+, T-Mobile and Verizon manage their own Paramount+ plans; canceling Walmart+ also ends the Paramount+ benefit.

Uninstalling isn’t canceling

Paramount+ notes that uninstalling the app on Android TV doesn’t cancel the subscription.

This also covers subscriptions started on a smart TV (LG, Vizio, Samsung) or a console (Xbox, PlayStation).

  1. Go to paramountplus.com and click your username in the upper right corner.
  2. Click Account.
  3. Scroll down and click Cancel subscription.

If you can’t sign in, Paramount+ says to open the chat on its Help Center and type “Agent”.

If someone else bills you

  • iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Paramount+ → Cancel Subscription → Confirm.
  • Apple TV: Settings → Users & Accounts → your account → Subscriptions → Paramount+ → Cancel Subscription.
  • Google Play (Android phone, tablet or TV): g.co/play/subscriptions → Paramount+ → Cancel subscription. Uninstalling the app on Android TV doesn’t cancel.
  • Fire TV / Amazon: amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions → Actions → Cancel your subscription.
  • Roku: on the home screen, choose Paramount+, press the * button → Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription.
  • Prime Video Channels: Account & Settings → Your subscriptions → Paramount+ → Unsubscribe.
  • Apple TV Channels: Settings → Users and Accounts → your name → Subscriptions → Paramount+.

Walmart+, T-Mobile and Verizon

Paramount+ included with Walmart+ is managed through Walmart+, and canceling Walmart+ also ends the Paramount+ benefit. Subscriptions through T-Mobile or Verizon are managed on those platforms.

Before you cancel

Billing dates can’t be changed, so cancel before the next one. If you only want a lower price, switching from Premium to Essential may be enough.
