How to cancel Headspace
The steps depend on WHERE you subscribed — directly, through your phone, internet or TV provider, or in an app store. Below are all the ways this service is sold and how to end each one.
Renewal and canceling
Headspace says you can cancel anytime. After the free trial, the annual subscription is charged and renews automatically each year. If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, cancel in that store.
Monthly
After 7 days free; cancel anytime.
Annual
After 14 days free; renews each year.
App store subscriptions
Apple asks you to cancel a trial at least 24 hours before it ends.
If you bought on headspace.com
- Log in at headspace.com in a desktop or mobile browser — not the app.
- Go to headspace.com/subscription/manage and select Cancel Membership.
No button there? Headspace asks you to email help@headspace.com.
If you bought through the Apple App Store
Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Headspace → Cancel Subscription. It stops auto-renewal at the end of the current billing cycle.
If you bought through Google Play
Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Headspace → Cancel subscription, then follow the prompts.
Refunds
Headspace says subscriptions bought on headspace.com are non-refundable, but it will review special circumstances by email. App Store and Google Play purchases are final and follow the store’s policy.
Other subscriptions
A free subscription from an organization doesn’t need canceling — it expires on the agreed date. Mental Health Coaching has its own cancellation steps.
