How to cancel ESET HOME Security
The steps depend on WHERE you subscribed — directly, through your phone, internet or TV provider, or in an app store. Below are all the ways this service is sold and how to end each one.
Billing
ESET home plans are bought for one year, or for two years at 15% off on Essential and Premium. Device count can be set from 1 to 25.
1 year
Standard yearly plan.
2 years
15% off, paid up front.
Pick devices carefully
The price depends on how many devices you choose.
Turn off auto-renewal in ESET HOME
- Sign in to your ESET HOME account.
- Click Subscriptions in the side menu.
- Choose the subscription and click Open subscription.
- Under Subscription options, click Manage subscription — you’re taken to the ESET eStore.
In the ESET eStore
- Sign in with your Activation key or Public ID.
- Click Subscription Management, then Verify with your email — you can’t turn off auto-renewal without verifying.
- Open the verification email and click Verify email.
- In Payment details, switch off Auto-renewal, tick the box to renew manually instead, and click Save Settings, then OK.
Bought through Google Play? Manage subscription sends you to Google Play subscriptions. Some subscriptions are managed by the distributor you bought from.
What happens next
Once auto-renewal is off, the subscription stays active until the end of the current period and then expires. ESET emails you 30 days before an annual renewal. If you change your mind later, ESET says a Windows home subscription can be renewed up to two years after it expires.
